6 Pack Abs In Just 30 Days – Day 4 Diary

Today was Day 4 of my “6 Pack Abs In Just 30 Days” Challenge.  My body is starting to really feel the effects of the training load but this is all part of achieving my personal goal for November.  I am looking forward to rest day on Day 6.  I am enjoying all of the questions and interactions across social media.  I welcome any of your questions, comments and feedback so make sure to communicate with me anytime.

Today started at 7.45am with a glass of water and lemon followed by a litre of  water.  I only use Alkaline Ionised Water.

Just before leaving for the school run I grabbed a quick pre training snack – a banana.  I had Day 4 Workout 1 facing me when I returned.

When I got back at 9.30am it was time to complete my first workout of the day (was to be my only one today as decided to give my body a rest and not do a second workout in afternoon – never underestimate the importance of resting your body).  My workouts are all modified from the structured workouts of Dave Sheahan Home Workout System

Today I did a hill sprint interval session.  This involved sprinting up a hill (took about 45-60 seconds full on) and then lightly jogging back down again (took about 60-75 seconds).  I completed 7 of these as well as jogging there and back home.

When I got back home I did 3 supersets of Hanging Knee Raises and Cycle crunches.

6 pack absAs I mentioned earlier I didn’t do a 2nd workout today as I felt my body needed extra recovery.  Listen to your body!!

6 Pack Abs Day 4 Nutrition

My Nutrition Today was as follows :

8.15am – Pre training snack : Banana

10.30am Meal 1 : Smoothie made with Sevenpoint2 Greens and Shake, kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, apple, and water.

11am – Meal 2 :Porridge, raisins, banana, Soya Milk

1.15pm – Meal 3: 2 Slice of wholemeal 5 seed bread with Peanut Butter

3pm – Snack – apple and mandarin – NOTE – always plan your day in advance like I did here as knew I would be out and about

4.30pm – Meal 4 : Boiled potatoes, baked beans and vegan patty

7.45pm – Meal 5 : Bowl of Muesli, rice & wheat flakes and soya milk

Total Water Intake : 5 litres

Green Tea : 2 cups
